My first time here, which I cannot believe and why it's taken so long to do so. Saw Riopy and it was an excellent piano performance from him, highly recommend it in terms of the venue and seeing this type of performance. It's the Southbank Queen Elizabeth Hall and I look forward to going again. If you're visiting London and there's someone you like performing here, make sure to do so. Solid A***** LDT x

Excellent venue on London's Southbank about 10 minutes walk from Waterloo Station. We attended a contemporary classical music concert by the brilliant Manchester Collective who performed 4 pieces including Steve Reich's great Different Trains. The venue can seat nearly 1000 people and has very good sight lines and acoustics. Two decent bars in the foyer.

Nice place, good atmosphere, good drinks bar (not the cheapest around) good stage, sound, everything as it should be. Great staff, very helpful.

Never been before. Seats really comfortable and the venue was very suitable for the concert that I went to. Interval drinks can be ordered in advance.

The actual auditorium is great, with well-tiered seats and good acoustics. However, it has next to no signage so you can walk round the whole place without seeing an entrance; it finally transpires that you need to go via a restaurant! The bar on the ground floor is grim, expensive and they only give you plastic glasses even if you don’t want to take them into the event. All pretty depressing.

The seats are uncomfortable and the multiple entries to the same set of women's toilets are incredibly confusing (defeats the purpose of queuing when people can just walk in from a different entrance and skip), but the staff are friendly and the venue is always clean

Well this was a little gem of a discovery. Very cool little roof time garden space overlooking the Thames and SouthBank area. Theres a cafe/bar to grab a drink and a snack. The staff were pleasant. There are lots of tables and benches around the gardens and also rails for leaning against should you wish to stand and look over the river. Only downsides were 1) it’s a cashless bar and 2) there are no toilets (the nearest are inside the Concert Hall building)

A great facility. Only four stars because I don't think the acoustics did justice to the brilliant music we went to enjoy. Great performance of Bachs Christmas Oratorio. Would go again.
